Attacker Josh Magennis Brought Back to Northern Ireland Squad for World Cup Qualifiers
The experienced forward has scored 4 times in 9 matches for his current team during the current campaign.
Forward Magennis has returned to the Northern Ireland national team for the upcoming 2026 World Cup qualifying fixtures.
The 35-year-old player has notched 12 international goals in eighty-two caps but had not been included in Michael O'Neill's selection since last November.
The team will face their opponents at their home ground on Friday, 10 October, before hosting the German side at the identical location three days later.
O'Neill has also been in a position to recall a number of squad members after injury.
The team were missing a large number of key individuals for the opening fixtures of the campaign, when they beat Luxembourg and lost to Germany in September.
Ballard, Hazard, Brodie Spencer, Brown, and Smyth are available again from their respective injuries.
There is also a comeback for Glasgow Rangers winger Ross McCausland, who is currently on loan at Aris Limassol.
Preferred shot-stopper Charles is still out with a shoulder problem, while there is no inclusion in the squad for Dale Taylor or Hale.
